Hallo, wie schön, dass Du den Weg hierher gefunden hast! Mein Name ist Andrea Bildstein und ich bin Künstlerin und Illustratorin. Geboren und aufgewachsen in München habe ich mir neben der Schule und dem Jurastudium das Zeichnen und Malen selbst beigebracht. 2015/16 habe ich eine Auszeit von meinem Beruf als Syndikusrechtsanwätin genommen und bin nach New York gezogen. Dort habe ich u.a. Cartooning, Watercolor und Children's Book Illustration an der School of Visual Arts studiert. Nach meiner Rückkehr nach München habe ich weitergemalt und mir nach und nach diese fröhlich bunte Welt aufgebaut, die Du gerade besuchst :). 2023 habe ich mir einen Traum erfüllt und bin ins wunderschöne Bayerische Oberland gezogen, wo ich endlich Platz für ein eigenes Atelier habe. Bei Spaziergängen im Wald oder der Pflege meines kleinen Gartens entstehen die Ideen für meine Charaktere wie die Blumenelfen oder Illustrationen von Tieren und Landschaften.

Andrea Bildstein is a German artist who also happens to be an attorney by day. After having taught herself how to draw and paint since she was little she went to New York City and took art classes at School of Visual Arts and the Village Workshop. After her return she continues painting and drawing in her own studio close to the Alps in Bavaria.

Important teachers: Tom Motley, Rabi Alieva, Sime Vlahov, Andrew Chang, Kaaren Lewis, and Monica Wellington. 

Andrea enjoys drawing and painting cute characters and places she keeps in her heart.

Andrea is also a Yoga Teacher who loves to connect with nature and other creative people. This is how the idea of the "YogAtelier" was born.
